Before leaving for his Nuffield Scholarship travels, we visited Jock Gibson, Farmer and Butcher at Edinvale Farm, near Forres. He never imagined farming full-time but an unexpected family loss changed his plans. Returning to the family farm following a career in engineering, Jock had to learn how to run the farming business as well as their own butchery, selling meat reared on the farm.
