For the Love of Farming with Farmstrong Scotland and Mind Your Head

Go Back

Like any industry, there are good days and not so good days in farming, but it is difficult not to love the industry when a newborn animal takes its first steps, when the sun is setting over the fields, or when you see that crop you planted start appearing through the soil. It’s the small things we notice, that can have a big impact.

A sense of feeling good and pride in what we do, contributes positively to our wellbeing. And when we feel good, we function better.

Farmstrong Scotland is a peer-to-peer led wellbeing charity, where people are at the heart of everything they do. So, what better way to end this year’s Mind Your Head Campaign, which also coincides with Valentine's Day, than to partner with them for a special feature, sharing why farmers and crofters love farming.

We spoke to individuals all across Scotland and have created this list of 14 positive reasons for the love of farming…have a think and take notice...why do you LOVE farming?
